What remains unverified

  • This research does not establish the actual solar-cell or array supplier for SpaceX V2 Mini. No listed company is labelled a Starlink supplier on the basis of product similarity.
  • Most current EOL curves and qualification reports require a configuration-specific inquiry.
  • Public pages do not always state irradiance and temperature for headline panel wattage. Missing conditions are retained rather than assumed.

  • Cell versus array efficiency · % at stated conditions

    Cell efficiency excludes panel packing, interconnect, shadowing and power-processing losses.

  • Mass and deployed area · kg, m²

    Use complete-wing mass and deployed geometry; panel-only mass omits mechanisms and harness.

  • Stowed envelope and deployment · mm, Hz

    Check launch fit, release loads, deployed stiffness, damping and deployment test evidence.

  • Environment and life

    Ask for radiation degradation, atomic-oxygen, thermal-cycle and contamination evidence for the intended orbit.

  • Production and interfaces

    Confirm cell source, string redundancy, connectors, traceability and changes required to adapt a catalog wing.

Selection & integration notes
  • For the large flat-panel communications satellite, shortlist array-level suppliers first; CubeSat panels are useful scale references, not demonstrated replacements for its complete power system.
  • Request an EOL energy budget covering payload duty cycle, eclipses, battery recharge and propulsion operation before picking area or nominal wattage.
  • CIC means a cell with interconnects and coverglass. A complete panel still may exclude deployment hardware.
